The revolutionary writing software designed by writers for writers
Writing is hard (anyone that pretends otherwise is lying through their teeth to you). You can make your job much, much easier just by using the right tools.
Now, most of us write on a computer these days. I still love putting my drafts and ideas together in longhand, but ultimately a computer is going to come into the picture at some point.
Now and again a new tool comes along and DISRUPTS the old way of doing things.
That disruptor is Scrivener. It’s a word processor designed by writers for writers. Now I was a late convert, because it can be a little confusing when you first open it. There’s a lot of options and here’s the thing – it looks NOTHING like MS Word (which is a good thing), So it WILL take you out of your comfort zone.
Scrivener is a new way to write that will completely make you fall in love with writing on a computer again. And I don’t say that lightly.
One of the best overviews of Scrivener I’ve seen is in this video by Karen Prince. She’ll walk you through the basics and show you how to use Scrivener the easy way.
If you are a serious writer, you’ve got to get serious about Scrivener.
